3.  Kaiser encourages withholding antibiotics for upper respiratory infections since the "evidence" they like suggests that it might only be of slight help.

4.  One would wonder if the ER doc took a history that this was a postal worker in the DC area who "collapsed in Church" on the way in to the ER Saturday - does that sound like the flu?

I believe the ER doc was not a direct contract Kaiser doc but indirect influences of "Best Practices" downsizing HMO style would be interesting to know.
